The type plate made of aluminium is an inexpensive solution for permanent use. In addition to etching, it can also be refined by anodising and designed in multicolour anodised underprinting. The oxide layer makes the aluminium shield corrosion-resistant and offers a scratch-resistant surface.
The following applies to all designs: the contours and inscriptions can no longer be removed with thinner or other lacquer solvents as is the case with normal printing.
